Whatever your political views, there’s definitely one thing to be said in favour of Fidel Castro’s regime in Cuba – it enticed Selina’s parents to flee the island and, therefore, allowed the rest of the world to have a proper squizz at their stunning daughter! “Ha, yeah, I guess that’s true! They both got out in the 70s when they were students, and… well, one thing lead to another and I was born in 1990! I guess I wouldn’t have been able to pursue a career as a model if I’d grown up in Cuba, so yes, we can probably thank Castro for that, if nothing else!” Well, the men of Cuba won’t be thanking him for policies that meant that you don’t live there!
